Efficacy and safety of subcutaneous vedolizumab in patients with moderately to severely active crohn’s disease: Results from the VISIBLE 2 randomised trial

The authors highlighted a significantly greater clinical remission rate at Week 52 for vedolizumab SC versus placebo in patients with moderately to severely active CD. This study aimed to report results from VISIBLE 2 which evaluated a new SC vedolizumab formulation as maintenance treatment in adults with moderately to severely active CD.

Efficacy and Safety of Combination Targeted Therapies in Immune-mediated Inflammatory Disease: The COMBIO Study

This study suggested that COMBIO (combination of targeted therapy) appears to be effective in achieving significant and mild-to-moderate improvement in half and a quarter of patients with IMIDs, respectively. This was an ambispective study of a French cohort of patients from gastroenterology, rheumatology, and dermatology.

Identification of novel off targets of baricitinib and tofacitinib by machine learning with a focus on thrombosis and viral infection

Established machine learning approaches, based on ligand similarity, identified previously unknown off-target interactions of baricitinib and tofacitinib, and adds to the evidence that these JAK inhibitors are promiscuous binders, and highlight the potential for repurposing.

This study evaluated lesions using SPARCC SSS definitions for erosion, backfill, fat metaplasia and ankylosis by two independent scoring readers.
